Convert Every Character to uppercase
Dictation Pro provides a set of voice commands to convert all the characters in a word, line, and paragraph in the document to uppercase text.
Note - Please press and hold control key before you use any capitalize command. Otherwise application will recognize it as a text and not as a command.
Capitalizing all the characters of recently dictated word or phrase
This command capitalizes all the characters of the last word or phrase that has been dictated.
Capitalizing Specific Words
The <text> represents any word or phrase. All the characters in <text> are capitalized.
If the spoken <text> occurs multiple times in your document, you can easily resolve the Multiple Matches.
Capitalizing a Range of Words
You can convert all the characters to uppercase in a part of your document. In the voice command, <text1> and <text2> represent the actual words at the beginning and end of the selected range.
If <text1> and <text2> occur multiple times in your document, you can easily resolve the Multiple Matches.
To Capitalize One or More Characters
The command converts a character to uppercase after the current location of the cursor.
You can convert 2-20 characters to uppercase after the current location of the cursor.
For example, say "All Caps next 5 characters".
The command converts a character to uppercase before the current location of the cursor.
You can convert 2-20 characters to uppercase before the current location of the cursor.
For example, say "All Caps previous 5 characters".
To Capitalize All Characters in One or More Words / Lines / Paragraphs
The command capitalizes all the characters of the word / line / paragraph in which the cursor is present.
You can convert all the characters of 2-20 words / lines / paragraphs to uppercase after the current location of the cursor.
For example, say "All Caps next 5 words", "All Caps next 5 paragraphs".
The command converts all the characters of a word/line/paragraph to uppercase before the current location of the cursor.
You can convert all the characters of 2-20 words / lines / paragraphs to uppercase before the current location of the cursor.
For example, say "All Caps previous 5 words", "All Caps previous 4 lines".
Note - An alternate word for "next" is "forward" and other words for "previous" are "back" and "last".
