How to Select Text
You can revise your dictation by selecting the text using the " Select " commands and performing various operations on the selected text.
Note - Please press and hold the control key before you use any select command. Otherwise Dictation Pro will recognize it as text and not as a command.

Select<text>
The <text> may represent any word or a phrase. For maintaining the recognition accuracy, length of the spoken <text> should be a minimum.
If the spoken <text> occurs multiple times in your document, you can easily resolve the Multiple Matches.
To Select a Range of Words

Select<text1>through<text2>
This voice command helps you to select a part of your document. <text1> and <text2> represent the actual words at the beginning and end of the selection range.
If <text1> and <text2> occur multiple times in your document, you can easily resolve the Multiple Matches.
To Select One or More Characters

Select next character
The command helps to select a character after the current location of the cursor.

Select next <2-20> characters
You can choose to select 2-20 characters after the current location of the cursor.
For example, say, "Select next 5 characters".

Select previous character
The command helps to select a character before the current location of the cursor.

Select previous <2-20> characters
You can select 2-20 characters before the current location of the cursor.
For example, say, "Select previous 5 characters".
To Select One or More Words / Lines / Paragraphs

Select next word / line / paragraph
The command helps to select a word / line / paragraph in which the cursor is present.

Select next <2-20> words / lines/paragraphs
You can select 2-20 words / lines / paragraphs after the current location of the cursor.
For example, say, "Select next 5 words", "Select next 9 lines".

Select previous word / line/ paragraph
The command selects a word / line / paragraph in which the cursor is present.

Select previous <2-20> words / lines / paragraphs
You can select 2-20 words / lines / words / paragraphs before the current location of the cursor.
For example, say, "Select previous 5 lines", "Select previous 2 paragraphs".
To Select Entire Document
To select all the text in your document say Select Document. This command is useful when you want to change the font or the alignment of the entire document.
To Deselect the Text
If wrong text is selected, you can deselect it with the command Unselect.
Note - An alternate word for "next" is "forward" and other words for "previous" are "back" and "last".
