Resolving Problems

If there is no response when you speak:

• Make sure the microphone is not set to mute. 

• Check if the microphone is connected properly to your computer and plugged to the correct port. 

• The document in which you are dictating must be active. 

If speech recognition is poor or deteriorating:

• Make sure the microphone is placed correctly and is not moved away from its optimal position. 

• Test the microphone every time you change it. 

• Check if the microphone works properly. 

• Make sure that you have gone through the user training process. 

• Open your own voice profile for dictation to enhance the speech recognition accuracy.
